Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg backs Carla's Compass: Merge Legacy

Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg has awarded New Media funding to Carla's Compass: Merge Legacy, the first game project from DKY Games. The grant covers both development and production.
Carla's Compass is a story-rich merge game set in 1950s Germany. Carla's father disappears without warning, leaving behind nothing but a mysterious compass, and she sets out to find him. Deep gameplay, cinematic storytelling and a good deal of nostalgic charm are not things you rush. The funding gives us the time and the team to make the game properly.
Ours is one of eleven games supported in this round, part of twenty-three projects in total spanning games, XR and serial formats. Forty-five projects applied.
